Haynes Family January Prayer Letter
January 2014 Prayer Letter
Greetings in the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ,
Greetings in the Name of Jesus Christ, I hope this prayer letter finds you striving for the Master. Sometimes we make greetings out of habit and say, “I hope everything is going well”. However, in truth, many people are having troublous times…many Christians are struggling at the beginning of 2014. Everything is NOT fine…but still we gear up, put the armor on and push forward for the Name of Jesus. –so I hope you are striving for God despite what is thrown your way!I am happy to report new things in this prayer letter! Justine and the baby are doing well and the due date is Feb. 1st! Now that the baby is almost here, I have re-clarified my goals and am happy to state I will be starting deputation again soon. I will be making some calls/emails this month and start getting meetings booked. –I have learned MANY many things from the past years and am actually looking forward to applying what I have learned. Many thanks go to an older Man of God in Florida for helping me with some ideas. Also, by examining my calling, goals, etc…I have been able to focus more on God and what God can do to produce God’s results.
I am happy to inform you about the visa situation. A church in Italy will soon have the “ability” to sponsor missionaries into Italy. –this is a MAJOR step forward as that we have nearly everything in place except the $ to get a much more permanent visa to stay in Italy. The “missionary visa” has less requirements and is a much more secure way to get the correct paperwork for a family. Praise God.
I am also happy to announce that the Lord saved another young man in our church during December! He approached me after a missionary conference at our church (I didn’t present) and we started talking about living in Europe. The conversation turned to Jesus and following Him…I was able to start the “plan of Salvation” from our conversation. The young man had to leave, but one of his family members followed up with him and led him to the point where he called on Jesus Christ to save him!
If you are still reading this, I want to give you some help: Help that has taken me years to learn the hard way. IF YOU are going through a “hard time”, (and you are saved and doing what God wants) remember that God melts away things in the furnace of affliction. AFTER the furnace, God sends the rain. WHAT? RAIN? ….I thought I was done and ready to be used. ---NO…and this is what I needed to learn. *** God takes you out of the furnace and NOW you are READY to be cultivated into what God wants….so HE sends the rain in your life to allow you to GROW. Nothing Grows without rain! After the rain, the true growth begins and THAT is what produces Fruit for the Lord.
Please pray that God opens the “deputation door”. Thanks and God Bless,
In Christ,
Bro. Harrison Haynes

p.s. Please pray that we will be able to figure out how to fix my (Justine's) computer as it is still crashed and looks like beyond repair. Trying to not be frustrated about the giant loss, and know that God has a plan for this. On a positive note, the Lord allowed us to now have internet, so I will now be able to write on a regular basis! :) Look forward to keeping in touch with you all. Also, I'm about to deliver baby Claudia as the midwife said I should deliver within the week. So please be in prayer about the delivery, if you would. I appreciate your continued support!
