Three Great Witnesses This Month
I've been blessed to share the Lord with others 3 times this last month, and I tell you so that you will join me in prayer for these souls:
The first one, I crocheted a scarf for our chiropractor of 6 years and gave the gospel to him with it. We have obviously known him for quite a while and he started treating me while I was pregnant with my first baby, so he's been with our family from the very start. He knows we are missionaries and we have talked personally with him about church and the Lord, but he is a mormon. So this year, I was able to use the opportunity to share the gospel with him again. Please pray for him!
The second one, was my midwife. She helped deliver my last 3 children and she is such a dear woman. She is from India and a very sweet lady. I was able to also make her a necklace as a thank you for all she did and include the gospel with the gift. Please pray for her salvation!
The third one, was a young lady from England who is new to America. She purchased some cloth diapers from me for her infant twin girls and when we started talking, we formed an immediate connection. I crocheted matching scarves for her little girls too. When I met up with her, I gave her the gospel and welcomed her to America - she was thrilled!
I have been selling a few items around the house that we didn't use anymore, and I've been taking the opportunities to tell others about the Lord. Even in Italy, the Lord used my love of crochet to share the gospel with other women. I would give baby items to expectant mothers and include the gospel as well. I have found that the heart is often so much softer that way. One lady in particular I ask prayer for, is Patrizia, the shop owner in Italy where we bought our groceries locally. She also had a love of crochet and I made her a small gift and included the gospel. We just recently received report from Italy that there have been more witnesses with Patrizia, and she is close to getting saved! I am praying for her heart to receive Jesus.
All of that to say that, be ever praying and spiritually aware especially this time of year when people are gathering together more and giving gifts. Include the BEST GIFT - the good news of Jesus!
