Our Month: Knoxville,TN to the Blue Ridge Moutains
This month was a blessing to us as we had more churches take us on for support and this month marks 1 year of deputation for us!
We were glad to be able to see some friends in TN that we have not seen in a few years, as well as make new friends. Virginia was a real blessing to our family and we were able to stay up there for a couple weeks for some really nice churches and very friendly, hospitable folk. We stayed in the mountains of both TN and VA and it was just simply beautiful everywhere we looked - it reminded us so much of the mountains in Italy where we lived in Mandela. The kids had a really good time this month since we have been able to stay in some missions houses which has been so nice for us as far as having room for everyone to have a bed and spread out a little bit! To those of you out there who think of missionaries and provide for them as well as you do, thank you so much for helping God's people! It means so much!!!
I will be adding a few different kind of blog posts now - one with home remedies I use since so many people ask me for health advice and I'm so happy to help! And the other one is what I will call "God Recipes". God has given me so many delicious recipes that I want to share. Those of you in the ministry, know exactly what it is to pray, "give us this day our daily bread." Cooking for my family is a ministry in itself and for you too! I always pray and ask God for wisdom as to how to make our limited supply of food and money stretch, be nutritious, and delicious. He has never failed to give me the ideas and inspirations for wonderful meals that my whole family loves and enjoys! Working with an extremely limited budget has taught me much in the way of cooking with next to nothing! So I want to share God's recipes with you and give Him the praise He deserves! Join me in these new posts and I pray you too will find help and encouragement as you follow me on my journey as a missionary's wife...
