Our Month: Florida and Baton Rouge

This month has been so wonderful for us with meetings and I must say that deputation is not without surprises!!! We have already gone through our first 1,000 prayer cards in less than a year and we got a blessing of hearing just today of a printing ministry that will print our new ones for us!
 The longer we are on deputation, the more I see that it is totally God who makes your schedule because even when there are gaps in the calendar, He fills them in in the least expected ways, but they get filled nonetheless, praise the Lord!
 I was telling my husband today that we have never been asked more for money before in our lives, than we have this past year on deputation! We literally get approached a few times a month now and it's actually "funny" that we are able to help people at all in this manner because whatever we have to give came straight from the Lord. It's hard to not think that people are silly for asking you as we obviously have a van full of kids to take care of and they have no idea how God literally is providing for our every mouth full of food, but then again, maybe they see something different in us and that's why they do approach us AND the money isn't ours anyway, it belongs to God and He shared it with us in the first place! So when you keep that perspective, it makes it easier to give up something you think you need so badly, because God will just meet your need again, so really there's nothing to worry about!  But Thankfully, my husband is very sensitive to this and gives what he can and always along with the gospel. He is a great helper to people and I know God will use this gift of his on the field in a wonderful way!
Anyway, this month found us in Florida and Baton Rouge for a missions conference, so here are some highlights I want to share with you....
In Tallahassee, we met a dear Pastor who is also an Italian. He keeps goats, and while at his prophet's chamber, my "kids" had a great time - pardon the pun!
I think I know what we will be having in Italy...

They also wanted to stay in the prophet's chamber with us - it was so funny!

Clint is quite the happy man and loves making all these new friends everywhere!

In Louisiana, the church folks took us out for some beignets and cafe ole'! It was great, and as you can see by the little finger swipes, someone else thought it was good too...

We also got to have our first Crawfish boil in Baton Rouge at the missions conference! Clarke enjoyed playing with the live ones.
Chloe had her 8th birthday in Plant City, Florida and had a very nice day. A church kindly took up a little love offering just for her, so that was something extra special for sure!

Port St. Lucie, Florida is a beautiful town and God even opened the door for us to get an extra and unexpected meeting here!

Haynes Family Prayer Letter - October 2018

October 2018 Dear Supporting Churches and Friends, Got some good news to report in from this past month.  First, I will tell you about a great project which Justine is doing  for two orphanages in Rome. A while back, somebody gifted Justine about 100 skeins of yarn (that’s one of those yarn thingies for all you guys out there).  Justine was praying about using the yarn to make something on a large scale for a group of people, but also using it to get the Gospel of our Lord Jesus to that specific group .  One of Justine’s heroes is Dorcas because she made garments for the poor as her ministry, which ultimately brought Glory to God when Peter raised her from the dead in Acts 9.  Justine got in touch with an orphanage in Rome which currently has 80 kids living there. Justine explained everything to the director and they were THRILLED about handmade scarves and gave us the “green light” to send everything.  T...
