Haynes Family Prayer Letter - March 2017

March 2017 Dear Pastors, Churches and Friends: Oh My, how much I have to tell you this month!  The Ministry/Deputation:  First, my wife, Justine,  was contacted by a lady online who needed a food recipe.  During the conversation, Justine found out this lady’s child was in the hospital in Cincinnati--exactly where we had several meetings!  Justine met with her at the hospital and had a really good conversation with her...Justine got the Gospel of Jesus Christ to this lady.  She didn’t get saved in the waiting room, but she has recently contacted Justine to ask for prayer!  Please pray for Talia and her daughter in the hospital!  For March, God has allowed me to meet pastors on deputation which will be able to meet the needs of the massive evangelism of Italy!  As you know, tracts are HUGE in Italy and the Lord has allowed us to connect with people who can print the massive numbers of needed tracts--what a Blessing!  I have been praying for a video camera for the ministry because I personally believe supporting churches would be greatly encouraged if they could SEE what is going on with us.  God answered that prayer and 2 people have donated video cameras to the ministry!  More Answered Prayer:  as many of you know, a pastor friend of mine GAVE me the Roman Centurion helmet I use on my display table when presenting the work in Italy.  I was working on a message and prayed about a prop for the message (because this prop would make a difference when preaching)...while presenting the ministry in Italy at a church a good pastor friend of mine in OH out right GAVE me a wooden practice Roman Sword!  This is the prop for the message I was praying for AND it matches my display table perfectly!!  Even More Answered Prayer:  Many of you have been praying along with us about a vehicle for the remainder of deputation….God has heard YOUR prayer for us!  A friend in the ministry has offered a motor home at a VERY GOOD price, with the possibility of even renting it from him….please continue to pray that God will provide the necessary funds for this!! Family:  This is a good story!  We needed clothes for Chloe our oldest daughter, and we had a Goodwill Gift card….so on to Goodwill in OH we go.  At the checkout they inform us they (Goodwill) do not take gift cards.  WHAT!?!  YOU are a Goodwill and YOU don’t take Goodwill gift cards!  Ok, thanks, but no thanks.  No clothes for Chloe after all.  However, my wife encouraged Chloe and told her to turn her disappointment into a prayer request and watch how God is going to meet her need in an even bigger way than we thought. A couple weeks go by and while at a scheduled meeting in NY, the pastor’s wife there pulled my wife to the side and said she didn’t know if we could use them, but her daughters had some clothes they had outgrown--could we use them?!  BOOM!!  --and this was NICE stuff, so Chloe is out dressing the rest of us now.  The best part is that Chloe’s faith was increased because God met her need despite circumstances!  Deputation is FULL of faith building exercises! Italy:  I want to personally thank you all.  The picture on the left is the man (Marco) I asked for prayer due to him being on the brink of death (older guy with gray hair).  He is next to another good missionary in Italy.  He, Marco, DROVE over to meet with Bro. Serino to tell him he knew that it was prayers that saved his life...PLEASE keep praying for Marco to get saved….he is a friend of mine from the mission field.   Know This!   Your prayers and your financial support are greatly appreciated, needed and are basically building materials constructing a roadway to Italy so the lost in Italy will get the Gospel of Christ---because of You.  Thank you.
