Haynes Prayer Letter - June 2017

Dear Pastor, Friends, and Supporting Churches,
God has been very good to us here in NY.  NY is very unique to us in regards to the ministry to Italy: Italians and Catholics...and lots of them!  At a family birthday party  the neighbor came outside to walk her dog.  My daughter immediately feel in love with the doggie, and Justine went over to talk. After a few minutes of conversation, the neighbor stated that she was Italian and had just arrived back from an Italian vacation...and actually visited  the little town where we lived (Mandela, Italy pop. 600 people).  Justine witnessed to her and gave her a gospel tract with a local church's address...please pray for Bernice that she would see her need of the Saviour!
Chloe has been at it again, witnessing to her friends and family! Using a boat ride on the Finger Lakes in NY, Chloe explained to her 7yr old cousin how this lake (one of the Finger Lakes) is like the Lake of Fire where sinners must go after death. Chloe tells people about hell and then brings them to Justine who tells them about Jesus! Justine explained all sinners must go to hell because of sin (Rom. 3:23), HOWEVER Jesus Christ took their sin on the cross (Col 2:14). Chloe's cousin got very excited about hearing about Jesus...we are going to give her a Bible when we see her again...please pray for Zoe's salvation.
Even though the deputation schedule has been a little bit "light" this month we are still chugging along! And God is still doing wonderful things.  We are supposed to pray for our nation and our leaders (1 Tim 2:2).  Keep praying for our President to get saved-- he has at least gotten a gospel tract. I sent President Trump the "Beating the Odds" tract designed by Bro. Bill Eubanks with a letter,  and he replied back!  A man's gift maketh room for him, and bringeth him before great men (Proverbs 18:16)...now I couldn't personally meet President Trump if I wanted to, however that gospel tract got the Precious Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ to the President of the USA. Just think what would happen if we all continued to pray for our leaders AND make sure they heard the Gospel?
We are very thankful for your kind support and prayers. We have some big meetings coming up which have much distance between them.  Our van is running but I can start to hear the death rattle so we ask for prayer about decisions with the van.  We are praying about an RV which will allow us to travel great distances and accomplish more meetings with more efficiency.  So if you know someone who we could even borrow one from, that would be a blessing!

Haynes Family Prayer Letter - October 2018

October 2018 Dear Supporting Churches and Friends, Got some good news to report in from this past month.  First, I will tell you about a great project which Justine is doing  for two orphanages in Rome. A while back, somebody gifted Justine about 100 skeins of yarn (that’s one of those yarn thingies for all you guys out there).  Justine was praying about using the yarn to make something on a large scale for a group of people, but also using it to get the Gospel of our Lord Jesus to that specific group .  One of Justine’s heroes is Dorcas because she made garments for the poor as her ministry, which ultimately brought Glory to God when Peter raised her from the dead in Acts 9.  Justine got in touch with an orphanage in Rome which currently has 80 kids living there. Justine explained everything to the director and they were THRILLED about handmade scarves and gave us the “green light” to send everything.  T...
