Heavenly Recipe: 3 Ingredient Silky Homemade Chocolate
OK, so it's been a little while since I had a Heavenly Recipe for you! But hopefully, this delicious recipe will make up for it 😉
The little story behind it is that my baby, Clint, loves his chocolate or "akla" as he calls it. He was so disappointed after dinner tonight that there was no "akla" in the house, he was in tears. So Mama HAD to do something to make it better - much to everyone's happy agreement!
I only had cocoa, coconut oil, and stevia on hand.
Here are the quantities for the pleasantly healthy, melt in your mouth chocolate that I came up with:
3 Ingredient Homemade Chocolate
- 4 Tablespoons Organic, Virgin Coconut Oil
- 1/2 generous cup cocoa powder
- 2-3 packets of stevia
- few dashes of cinnamon (optional)
Melt the coconut oil in a pan and then stir in the cocoa powder and sweetener until smooth. Pour into a foil lined loaf pan and let cool until set (about 1 hour).
The great thing is that this recipe is very versatile! You don't have to use stevia. You can use honey too and toss in some chia seeds or nuts and dried fruit...whatever you like. This makes a great gift for someone for the holidays that has a very restrictive diet and it takes little to no time or effort to make.
I hope you give it a try too and let me know what ingredients you used to make your homemade chocolate special! Now, I gotta go deliver this "akla" to my little flock. Blessings to you 💞
The righteous cry, and the Lord heareth, and delivereth them out of all their troubles.
