Dunkin Donuts Blessing

   This last week my husband was out of town at a seminar for 5 days and it was a long 5 days for all of us and the children especially! I tried to break up the long days with little things for us all to do. I had a coupon for Dunkin Donuts and thought that the children would enjoy going to get a few donuts for a treat. Whenever I go out, I always try to have a smile for those I come in contact with and try to show the joy of the Lord in a dark world. Friendliness goes a LONG way!
 When I got to the drive thru, I greeted the cashier and placed my order. I could tell that the man wasn't very happy to be at work, but once he heard me be friendly, his voice completely changed. When I pulled around to pick up my order, the man smiled and handed me the box of donuts and wouldn't take my card to pay for it. He said for me to take it and enjoy them! 
I told him that I had a coupon and would pay for them and didn't want him to get in trouble - he laughed and said he wouldn't get in trouble. As he started to walk away, I stopped him and said that I had something in return for him and I gave him a gospel tract and invited him to church. He was so thankful and said he would definitely try to come!

You never know what door will open just from a friendly word! God was so sweet to give us that blessing of the donuts and also to give us a chance to share Him with someone!

May you be encouraged and provoked to good works to keep a smile on your face, kind words on your lips, and tracts on your person, because the Lord can and will use that for His glory! You have the very Hope people are looking for - don't hide it!!!

Haynes Family Prayer Letter - October 2018

October 2018 Dear Supporting Churches and Friends, Got some good news to report in from this past month.  First, I will tell you about a great project which Justine is doing  for two orphanages in Rome. A while back, somebody gifted Justine about 100 skeins of yarn (that’s one of those yarn thingies for all you guys out there).  Justine was praying about using the yarn to make something on a large scale for a group of people, but also using it to get the Gospel of our Lord Jesus to that specific group .  One of Justine’s heroes is Dorcas because she made garments for the poor as her ministry, which ultimately brought Glory to God when Peter raised her from the dead in Acts 9.  Justine got in touch with an orphanage in Rome which currently has 80 kids living there.
