Haynes Family Prayer Letter - September 2018

SEPTEMBER 2018
Dear Churches and Friends,

As always, I hope this letter finds you well in our Lord Jesus Christ!  Thank you for your prayers as we have had some very good seed planting this month, and things are moving forward with the ministry!
We have had another increase in support with another church having taken us on, and I am happy to state that we are currently at 64% at the end of September.  I can’t wait to “round third and head Rome”--baseball terms...but with the Italian twist!

We started looking at the paperwork process, which turns out is a great blessing because we only need to update/renew our passports--this should save some headaches because we are already in the system.
The current needs/prayer requests for the ministry are basically the same from last month with the van and place to “winter”. Everywhere I have called this last month, which is nothing less than 20 missions houses, are all booked until the spring.  The best possible situation for us would be a “home base” that we would be able to work on the remainder of support from a single location out of. It doesn’t always work like that on the beginning of deputation, but it would greatly help us while finishing deputation for Italy.    
The family is healthy at the moment and I thank you for praying for that, because sickness can shut down and delay things!  We are grateful for the health God has currently blessed with.
As I mentioned earlier, spring is still the targeted time frame to leave for Italy, as the Lord allows.   I thank you for including us as a part of your missions outreach to the fields of Italy.

October 2018 Dear Supporting Churches and Friends, Got some good news to report in from this past month.  First, I will tell you about a great project which Justine is doing  for two orphanages in Rome. A while back, somebody gifted Justine about 100 skeins of yarn (that’s one of those yarn thingies for all you guys out there).  Justine was praying about using the yarn to make something on a large scale for a group of people, but also using it to get the Gospel of our Lord Jesus to that specific group .  One of Justine’s heroes is Dorcas because she made garments for the poor as her ministry, which ultimately brought Glory to God when Peter raised her from the dead in Acts 9.  Justine got in touch with an orphanage in Rome which currently has 80 kids living there.
