Rise and Shine for Jesus! \O/ By Pam Iannello (my late mother) A ministry of New Beginnings Baptist Church @  www.nbbconline.com Phillipians 4:7, “And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.” I hope you ladies don’t mind sitting in on a little counseling session with me today. Who am I counseling? Myself! Yes, pastor’s wives need encouragement and exhortation just as much as the next person. As you can tell by our opening verse, I am performing some scriptural therapy upon my heart and mind… Without a peaceful mind, one cannot have a peaceful life. It is the best and quickest way to reduce your level of anxiety! By the way, how peaceful is your spirit these days? What does it take for you to think worthy thoughts? I certainly don’t think it’s going to hurt for us to take yet another look at the qualities of wholesome thoughts as found in verse 8 of Phillipians 4: Philip. 4:8, “Finally, brethr

April Answers To Prayer!

Image
Do you see that beautiful answer to prayer right there????? God has done great things for us this month and we are so thankful! The Lord blessed us with a bigger than expected tax return, so we were able to find this van at an incredible price and it's paid in full! So now we will be able to do deputation better and now ride together as a family and we are thankful! Praise the Lord!!!  I also have another blessing and that is we were able to get all the info from my other crashed computer finally transferred over to our new computer so now I can include Rise and Shines on my blog posts as I now have the files again. Thank you all for your prayers for us! Please don't stop!!! Our new prayer letter will be out in a few days so I will write again soon :)

Package From Italy

Needless to say we were so happy to hear from everyone and I spent the majority of the day in tears after that. We miss everyone there so dearly! So now we are working on a thank you package for our church family in Rome and friends in Mandela. The card in the package from Marco and Sonia was especially touching because after taking a lot of time to translate it, we were again brought to tears over their sweet words of how much they missed us, loved us and hoped to have us back there again soon. Words can't explain what a feeling it is to know that the people tha

March Prayer Letter

Hello dear brothers, sisters, and churches, I hope you are all well.  I am happy to announce I received 2,500 prayer cards for FREE...which  is great.  Also, I have gotten some meetings set up  in NY for the month on July. I am also happy to announce our family is doing well. Claudia is 7 weeks old and healthy along with mom. I have established communication with a buddy of Mine in Mandela, Italy (Marco)…please pray for his salvation!  Thanks for all the prayers.  If you are a pastor and have some  churches that you could recommend...I would greatly  appreciate the info.  (I won't use your name) I thank you for praying...the last time I did deputation,  it didn't work out well.  Only 1 church took us on after approx 8 months of solid deputation.  So now it's time to build the needed income to get to the field and stay on the field.  Like most pastors who have to work a job, I was teaching English in Italy to offset some costs i
