Rise and Shine for Jesus! By Pam Iannello (my late mother) "Remedy for Restlessness" Psalm 3:1-8 (KJV) Lord, how are they increased that trouble me! many are they that rise up against me. Many there be which say of my soul, There is no help for him in God. Selah. But thou, O Lord, art a shield for me; my glory, and the lifter up of mine head.I cried unto the Lord with my voice, and he heard me out of his holy hill. Selah. I laid me down and slept ; I awaked; for the Lord sustained me. I will not be afraid of ten thousands of people, that have set themselves against me round about. Arise, O Lord; save me, O my God: for thou hast smitten all mine enemies upon the cheek bone; thou hast broken the teeth of the ungodly. Salvation belongeth unto the Lord: thy blessing is upon thy people. Selah.” As I read this Psalm today, I was impressed anew with the fact that God watches over our sleep! Have any of you ever known a missionary that made a HUGE impact on your life?! I have known Bro. Kelle and Miss Tammy Hein since I was a young teen. The impact they have had on my Christianity, helped give me the love for God's work and missions that I have today.  Bro. Kelle Hein, was very recently killed in a plane crash, leaving a huge void and his wife alone in the work and ministry. She needs our help and continued support. RISE AND SHINE FOR JESUS! \O/ By Pam Iannello (my late mother) "Rehearsals" Psalm 1:1-3 (KJV) Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful. [2] But his delight is in the law of the Lord; and in his law doth he meditate day and night . [3] And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper . Rehearsals are for the purpose of perfecting our performance. Rehearsals are typically planned prior to plays or musicals or speaking engagements or wedding ceremonies or anything of that nature. There is a dry run carried out which is designed to make our behavior automatic through continued practice. Rehearsals transform unfamiliar procedures into routine ones. If it weren’t for rehearsals, there is no telling what might occur during an impo
