Pushing Up Pavement

Image
RISE AND SHINE FOR JESUS! By Pam Iannello (my late mother) "Pushing Up Pavement" What is a firm foundation for life? What is a shaky foundation? Do you know if you are establishing the right one? Proverbs 12:3 (KJV) A man shall not be established by wickedness: but the root of the righteous shall not be moved. Ladies, the Bible teaches us that wickedness is a very unreliable root system… It is never firmly established; at best it is only temporary and soon dries up, withers and blows away. Such persons are easily displaced by all sorts of conditions; they are ever taking on new forms. But the root of the righteous, on the other hand, is a different story! This root system has strength and stability; it cannot be shaken; it is unable to be pulled up. No set of circumstances is powerful enough to triumph over the depth of strength it possesses ! It is always stable; always the same. When a person is truly planted in Christ, he sends down roots de

Heavenly Recipe: Oatmeal Breakfast Custard

Image
Hi there! Today I wanted to share a great little recipe with you that I have found to be extremely useful for a nutritious way to feed a bunch of little ones on a budget!  ♡ Gotta love those kind of recipes ♡ Oatmeal Custard is a great way to still get in protein when you are working on a budget, because it has eggs in it which will help keep the blood sugar balanced. With the eggs added to the oatmeal, this combination is a powerful blend to help balance and nourish the kidneys. On top of that, it's extra rich and creamy and once you try oatmeal this way, you will never want to go back to instant oatmeal again! Here's how I make it: 2 cups of old fashioned oats  4 cups purified water 1/2 cup almond milk 1/2 cup organic sugar 1/4 teaspoon sea salt nutmeg (we like fresh grated) 1-2 organic eggs whisked in a cup Put the oats in your pot and turn heat on to medium high and let them toast for a minute, then add the rest of the ingredients into your pot - except the

Push The Plow

Rise and Shine for Jesus! \O/ By Pam Iannello (my late mother) "Push the Plow" Proverbs 20:4 (KJV) The sluggard will not plow by reason of the cold; therefore shall he beg in harvest, and have nothing. What a way to start out the week! That verse feels kind of like a bucket of cold water thrown in our faces when we read it, doesn't it? It catches us by surprise because none of us really likes to consider ourselves sluggards, amen? When the thought of being a lazy bum is introduced to us, we shudder to think it could be so. But - is it so ?? Just what is your definition of a sluggard? Webster's 1828 says this: a person habitually lazy, idle, and inactive, a drone. In actuality, the sluggard has a bad habit of doing nothing and getting nowhere! Poor thing... Is he just a victim of society; has he just had some tough breaks in life? Should he be pitied and helped? Why do you think this has come about, just what seems to be the sluggard

Haynes Family Prayer Letter - January 2018

Haynes Family Missionaries to Italy January  2018 Dear Supporting Church and Friends, “But to do good and to communicate forget not…” (Hebrews 13:16)  We have got good news to tell you!  Let me start by thanking you for your prayers and financial support--because  without you and your efforts, this ministry could not go further.  Please do me the honor and give me a moment to inform you about some of your fruit!   Praying over the 10 Bibles and Tracts we Shipped! As you remember from some of the last prayer letters, we have been able to get some gospel tracts online and into some key areas.   53 people have gotten these Gospel Tracts of Salvation as of this prayer letter with some people positively responding and thanking us!  It’s been insanely amazing because on one of the salvation outreaches for Italy, a person contacted us back and asked for Bibles for himself and 8 of his students!  --MORE amazing than that is the Bible ad was found on a link in
