Mom, You Forgot!

Image
Rise and Shine for Jesus! \O/ By Pam Iannello (my late mother) A ministry of New Beginnings Baptist Church @ www.nbbconline.com Isaiah 49:15-16 (KJV) Can a woman forget her sucking child, that she should not have compassion on the son of her womb? yea, they may forget, yet will I not forget thee. Behold, I have graven thee upon the palms of my hands; thy walls are continually before me. While reading these two verses, one can't help but be impressed with the images God uses to illustrate the depth of His love. As mothers, we ought to be highly challenged to compare our mother love to that of the Lord's care and concern for His children. Can we, who carried a tiny life within our womb, actually forget that precious child we bore? The Bible says yes! Mothers are capable of forgetting ... "Her sucking child" is an image scripture uses that forces us to see our children in the proper light. A sucking child draws nourishment from its mother.

May Prayer Letter

May Prayer Letter This past month has been a blessing in many ways for us. There are several exciting topics and I will only address some, but am thankful for continued answered prayer. First, we were able to have very good fellowship time with another missionary and his family going to Sicily. Bro Lieb is a missionary and came by our church during his travels of deputation. My wife and Mrs. Lieb have known each other a long time and had some good fellowship time while the kids played at a local playground. Please pray the Lord meets all their needs and blesses them on their field as they plan to leave in August. I was scheduled to go to Florida and preach a message at a gathering for a local pastor who has faithfully been “in the pulpit” for 40 years. I was unable to attend the meeting, due to some travel issues…but the Lord’s will is still done nonetheless, even when plans get cancelled. I would like your prayers for deputation travels coming up: my family

Rise and Shine for Jesus! \O/ by Pam Iannello (my late mother) Proverbs 15:27 says, "He that is greedy of gain troubleth his own house; but he that hateth gifts shall live."  Man's greed for gain is a continual source of woe for the people of this world, amen?  However, we all know wealth does not bring contentment, it's not lasting and the desire for it leads to sin!  Greed leads men to want more than their share...  The trade-offs people accept often bring ruin upon themselves and their loved ones.  They even bring death upon themselves as they live hard and chase hard after their fleshly desires - and not all our desires are money related, amen?  The Bible says in Luke 9:25: "For what is man advantaged, if he gain the whole world, and lose himself , or be cast away?"  Those though, that refuse to be pulled into such ungodly living and an unbalanced perspective, are the ones who survive, the ones who thrive, and happily too!  You hav
