Our Month: Pensacola to Picayune

Image
We had a busy month with alot of spiritual battles, but despite it all, the Lord was faithful! We were blessed with a surprise at a church we visited to meet up with other dear missionary friends, the Galioto family, who minister in Sicily. We had a great time of fellowship with them as well as some other friends, the Mooberrys who were missionaries in Brazil and it was great to catch up with them as well. We are always thankful for encouraging fellowship! So May had us in lower Alabama and the Florida panhandle again and then to Mississippi. This next month we head to east TN and Virginia for another full month...so please keep us in your prayers for safety on the roads!  This is the sweet face I get to look at in the car - I'm so blessed! Rise and Shine for Jesus! \O/ By Pam Iannello (my late mother) For the sake of space, I want you to take a moment before proceeding through today's devotion to first read Matthew 25:31-45 and Galatians 6:9-10, the latter reference which I'll include below.  Then ponder this question:  How can these verses give wisdom and encouragement for those who are the primary caretakers of older parents?  What thoughts and feelings do you experience as you think about the reality of your parents getting older?  What are some of the changes older people experience? I think you'll find as I did that we must minister to our parents (or any older person) with sensitivity t

Starting with 8 meetings scheduled in FL it grew to 10 meetings plus a mission's conference! While on the road a pastor invited us to a mission's conference and a different pastor called his pastor friend and got a meeting FOR US. So God has been blessing us left and right. I wish to tell you about some of your rewards here and now and give you just a taste of what is in store for you because of your sacrifice: One night after everybody had gone to sleep in the prophet's chamber, I saw a car drive from the road to the church window...and park there...car running. I put my shoes on and went outside to see what was going on.   As I walked around the building to where the trash dumpster was I saw a man "digging" through the dumpster. I asked if everything was ok, and he said, "Yeah, just looking
