Meet Claudia Haynes

Hello Everyone,
I'm so blessed and relieved :) to share the news of our new addition with you all! Claudia Mandela Haynes was born 2.10.14 at 6:25 pm and weighed 7 lbs 9oz and 20 inches long. (Mandela is after the town in Itlay where we lived) She was out in 4 pushes and praise the Lord, even though the cord was around her neck, she was fine. I'm so thankful she is here and just love getting to know her and seeing the other 3 embrace her into the family. Please pray for an easy recovery and we also have need of a bigger vehicle now and would also appreciate your interceding with us on this!

Claudia was the longest pregnancy I've had at 41 wks and 2 days. I felt like such an invalid and trying to cook and clean, homeschooling, and having 3 children ages 5 and under, God sure showed His grace to me each and every day. Even though the process was so long and drawn out and each trip to the midwife usually ended in tears as the weeks kept progressing and there was no further headway toward labor. I learned much of the patience that God has for meeting His bride, how much patience He has in waiting for us to turn to Him and repent, how much patience He has in teaching us the same lessons over and over and over, the patience He has with our lack of faith and fears. His patience is amazing!
1 Timothy 6:11
But thou, O man of God, flee these things; and follow after...patience.
Notice in the verse how it says to "follow after" and we know that you can't follow after someone unless you are behind them and in submission to them. Like playing "follow the leader"- I'm sure when it comes "following patience" in that game, it would be sooooo easy to lose because we would keep getting ahead of patience and not following after. My prayer is that we can follow after and walk in the footsteps of patience because patience has a prize waiting for us at the end...
James 1:4
But let patience have her perfect work, that ye may be perfect and entire, wanting nothing.
