Haynes Family New Prayer Card Pic

Haynes Family - Left to Right - Clarke, Justine, Claudia, Chloe, Claire, Harrison

I'm so happy to report that we heard of a company from another missionary who said that this company does prayer cards for free for missionaries! After contacting them, they replied that they still do and told us all the details of how to go about getting them started. So now, we have a new prayer card coming and the Lord provided it for us at no cost! This was such a blessing to receive. So please pray for that process...and if you know of any other missionaries that need this blessing as well, please give them our info and we will be glad to direct them to the right place!

The Lord has laid a "thought" on my heart to share with you all, after He convicted me with it.
1 Corinthians 6:19,20 are well known verses and are often used with the focus in reference to taking care of
your body and not doing things which would bring shame to the Lord or not putting things in your body which would harm you (boy, we could spend alot of time on that point! Like too much dessert, cokes, chemical laden foods, etc. not just drugs and alcohol) Altar call!!!
Anyway, the part of the verse that ministered to me this week was...
What? Know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own? For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God's.
These were my mom's life verses, so I know them well and have heard them often. But sometimes just putting a different emphasis on a verse can change everything for you. So here's the big question, can your spirit glorify God? How's your spirit doing? Is it bitter, self-righteous, envious, complaining? Only you know...but, we often focus our attention to doing and being the part on the outside, which is good, but let's turn the focus inward too as that is what God says He cares about the most!
1 Samuel 16:7
...for the Lord seeth not as man seeth; for man looketh on the outward appearance, but the Lord looketh on the heart.
I hope that you will join me in taking inventory of your spirit. Can the status of your spirit right now bring glory to God? If not, take a moment now to do some spring cleaning in your heart!
