Is That Considerate of You

Rise and Shine for Jesus! \O/

Hebrews 10:24
And let us consider one another to provoke unto love and to good works:

The Bible clearly tells us what kind of behavior believers in Christ should exhibit one toward one another…  Scripture calls for manners of consideration. That means we are to calculate, reflect upon, or regard the things we do and say with a selfless attitude.  Would you say you are conscientious of other Christians? Do you seek ways to encourage your brothers and sisters in the Lord or express love toward them?  Have you ever deliberated over ways to spiritually stimulate God’s people?  How often do you look for ways to be of service to others?  Those who gratefully consider what God has done for them become the most considerate servants of others, never lacking in motivation…

1 Samuel 12:24
Only fear the Lord, and serve him in truth with all your heart: for consider how great things he hath done for you.

Ladies, your actions are often copied by those closest to you. The first step toward helping others live correctly is for you to live correctly. We are responsible for the example we set… That means we must not exist with only our own survival in mind. Unfortunately, many Christians have fallen into the pattern of neglecting one another.  There are believers who have not yet acquired the habit of application; hence, they are inclined to imitate everything they see. For this reason they must be exposed to proper examples. Are you living in a manner worthy of imitation?  How will their spiritual taste buds be formed, their eyes be opened to those things to be held in reverence and the things to be shunned if persons belonging to the flock of God are surrounded by indifferent, uncaring Christians?  Who will guide the pliable away from their own passions and toward the hope of the Lord?

Proverbs 29:7
The righteous considereth the cause of the poor: but the wicked regardeth not to know it.

It is our duty to guard folks as much as possible from imitating the evil they see before them.  Children have an inclination for imitation and so do babes in Christ. God has given them supple spirits that they may be more easily led toward the good. He has made our duty one of ease yet we are unmistakably guilty of the reproduction of ungodliness by a lack of consideration.

Psalm 41:1
Blessed is he that considereth the poor: the Lord will deliver him in time of trouble.

Ladies, our God is a merciful God and He would have His children bear His resemblance.  The Lord looks very deeply into our circumstances…. When you exhibit a tender, compassionate, sincerely interested heart toward others, you are imitating your heavenly Father! Our business is to care for His concerns, is it not? Are you following God’s example, dear lady? Enquire, sift out their situation and study the best way to attend to individuals. Do not wait until it is obvious that people require something; look closely for ways to provoke them unto love and good works at all times, even before distress arises.  In turn, the concern you show God will show to you. Don’t let opportunities to be a godly influence slip away simply by putting self first.  Provoke people to be true to Christ.

Blessed is he that considereth…  Let us consider one another!
Manner may in seven words be found:
Forget yourself and think of those around.
God Bless,
Pam
